A Decade of Visual Storytelling

With over a decade of experience, Ahmed Babiker is a Sudanese Director and Senior Video Editor. Born and raised in Saudi Arabia and currently based in Qatar, he merges his directorial vision with his expertise as a Editing to bring deep narratives, visual rhythm, and stories to life—transforming concepts and raw footage into a flawless final cut.

Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia & Creative Studies—where he graduated at the top of his class—his extensive background in pre-production and on-set execution heavily informs his creative approach. His on-set experience features a key role within the directing department of the feature film Goodbye Julia, where he served as the Script Supervisor.

Throughout his career, he has had the privilege of directing and editing high-end music videos, commercials, short films, and campaigns for top-tier brands and government entities. His portfolio features impactful work for Al Jazeera, Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Group, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and D360 Bank.

As the co-director of the short film (currently streaming on Shahid), Ahmed approaches every project—whether behind the camera or in the edit bay—with a director’s mindset. He knows exactly how to frame a story, pace a scene, evoke emotion, and build a narrative that keeps audiences hooked.
